"I have spent the lion’s share of my career to date in a technical and creative Internet business that has undergone significant growth and change since its inception as a web services business in 1996. Since then, the Internet now pervades every aspect of modern life. It has been a great privilege to work with such a great variety of people with very different priorities during that period. That close interaction with colleagues, clients or suppliers, regardless of industry or business model, still really sparks my enthusiasm for business. Working with people, helping organisations to find solutions to their business challenges, making things better today than they were yesterday, gives me a great buzz."
